Aquatopia Farms — Cultivating Edible Beauty

At Aquatopia Farms, we’re bringing our love of lush, living ecosystems to the meal table. Our new line of microgreens and edible florals is grown organically with care in our tropical greenhouse, combining sustainability, flavour, and artistry. Each harvest is packed with vibrant colour, nutrition, and a touch of elegance — perfect for chefs, mixologists, and home cooks who believe food should both taste and look extraordinary.

Growing Process

All of our microgreens are grown hydroponically using hemp mats, and delivered live in standard nursery trays to extend shelf life and prevent soil contamination in the kitchen. Since they are continually growing until harvested, our microgreens can be stored with or without refrigeration, with a shelf life of a week or more.
Our edible florals are grown and harvested in our greenhouses, then packaged and shipped out fresh on the day of delivery. They are best kept refrigerated and can stay fresh for up to a week.

Environment

Aquatopia remains true to our namesake by acting as responsible stewards of our most precious resource - water. All of our crops are watered using spring-fed wells, and any stormwater runoff is captured and filtered on site using patented constructed wetland filtration technology. Any water leaving our property to the surrounding lands and stormwater systems is rendered practically potable.

Our crops are all grown in fully reusable polypropylene nursery pots & trays. As part of our environmental commitment, Aquatopia will credit you $2 for every empty microgreens tray we pick up from your establishment when we deliver your subsequent order.

Availability

Our microgreens are greenhouse grown and available year round, as are 80% of our edible florals. If a variety is in production and not quite ready for harvest, it will show as ‘Out of Stock’ however, not for long since the seed-to-harvest growing time for most of our crops is less than 14 days. If a certain item is not available, we can usually recommend a substitution that will equally delight your clients. If you are anticipating an exceptionally large upcoming order, we recommend contacting our customer service team in advance to ensure we have sufficient product in production.

Ordering

All orders are processed online on this site and processed within 1-2 business days. All orders are due upon receipt and must be paid by e-Transfer only. If you need help selecting a product for your needs, please contact our customer service team for assistance. Due to their perishable nature, all food products are non-returnable. Please inspect your order upon receipt. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at farms@aquatopia.world so we can evaluate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Delivery

Aquatopia is pleased to offer FREE delivery to all commercial accounts in the Greater Metro Ottawa region including: Downtown Ottawa, Kanata, Arnprior, Almonte, Carleton Place, Perth, Smiths Falls, Merrickville, Kemptville, Manotick, Nepean, Gloucester, and Orleans. All deliveries are made Tuesdays and Fridays.
