Pondless Waterfalls

Pondless Waterfalls are, without a doubt, the most sought-after landscape water features we build. They are extremely low-maintenance, energy efficient, and attract a multitude of birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. The soothing sights & sounds of running water stream add beauty & serenity to virtually any landscape, creating a positive sense of place in any home or business.

Aquatopia Pondless Waterfalls can be soft and soothing in the form of a babbling brook, or they can be more dramatic with crashing falls and rumbling rapids. And with an infinite number of sizes and configurations, a Pondless Waterfall is a great option for both small and large outdoor spaces.

Children love exploring nature in and around waterfalls & streams, where every moment becomes a teaching moment. And because there have no deep open water areas, Pondless Waterfalls are perfect for public settings such as commercial building entrances, schools & day cares, community centres, and parks where liabilities of a pond are a concern.

How They Work

A Pondless Waterfall is simply a re-circulating waterfall or stream without the presence of a pond. Pondless Waterfalls work by pumping water contained in a large underground basin, up and through the Waterfall Spillway, allowing the water to flow through a stream back down into the reservoir. This simple recirculation system requires very little maintenance, is easy to install, and ideal for families with young children or pets that love to play in water.

Aquatopia can create the beauty and soothing sounds of a Pondless Waterfall in virtually any location in your yard. We can tuck a small waterfall near the front entrance of your home to greet visitors or create a larger natural babbling brook winding through the natural grade of you landscape to create transformational aquatic paradise.
